About Alison:

Alison is a senior majoring in English with a minor in Law, Justice, and Social Change. She is interested in exploring criminal defense or child welfare law.

“I rushed BAR for three reasons. First, I saw a community in which the actives had each other's backs. Second, I appreciated the multitude of professional events that covered a range of areas. Lastly, it was clear that BAR placed DEI at the forefront of their decision-making. Now, as an active in BAR, I am grateful that I get to reap all of these benefits. To me, BAR is a community of motivated, driven students that are committed to bettering themselves and the world around them. I am so lucky to have found such a close group of friends that I can always rely on.”

Outside of BAR, Alison volunteers with the Conversations to Remember and the Prison Creative Arts Project. She also works as a teacher at a local preschool and work on a horse farm.

Fun Fact: Alison likes painting, reviewing books on GoodReads, or looking at her fish tank.
