Social Chair: Michael MacKenzie

Pronouns: He/Him/His

About Michael:

Michael is a senior majoring in Economics with a minor in German. He plans on attending law school following graduation, and he is currently considering studying antitrust law.

“I rushed BAR during my sophomore year looking to increase my involvement on campus and gain professional development. What I found, however, was a community that gave me a sense of belonging on campus. BAR has given me some of my closest friends and allowed me to grow both personally and professionally. The professional development I received as a pledge has been integral to my success now. Being a part of the BAR community has consistently been something I enjoy and look forward to; that is why I wanted to become social chair, to help deepen the sense of community within the fraternity.”

Outside of BAR, Michael is a student mentor for CSP and a writer for the Undergraduate Law Review. In his free time, he loves spending time with friends, as well as running and listening to music.

Fun Fact: Michael knows how to fly an airplane!
