About Cortez:
Cortez is a sophomore double majoring in Psychology and History with a minor in Political Science. Cortez plans on attending law school and pursuing a career in either discrimination or international law.
“I joined BAR during my first semester of freshman year, and it quickly became one of the most meaningful parts of my college experience. Being part of the BAR community has given me lifelong friendships, from my PC to my amazing Big, along with countless memorable bonding experiences and events. I’m incredibly excited to serve on E-board this year and help create events that not only educate the activehood about DEI, but also celebrate the diversity within our community. I can’t wait to see what this year brings!”
Outside of BAR, Cortez is a member of Psi Chi, A/Squared Fashion Magazine, and is an employee of both the Intramural Sports Building and West Quadrangle Housing.
Cortez’s Interests: Social Psychology, Medieval History, Cooking, Trying new workout classes, Scrapbooking, and Contemporary Literature.

Acts as main liaison between executive board and diversity-related contacts
