About Rukmini:
Rukmini is a junior studying Public Policy. She is currently interested in exploring the areas of entertainment law.
“I rushed BAR to find a community of people who could help me grow professionally, academically, and socially. Almost a year in, BAR has done exactly that. I have learned so much about my career aspirations and the legal field, and have met so many wonderful people. I had never expected to find such a close and supportive community so early into my college career, and will forever be so grateful for it. I have already gained so much clarity and confidence in myself and my goals, much of which is attributed to BAR and it's actives.”
Outside of BAR Rukmini is a volunteer or the Consent Outreach and Relationship Education Program through SAPAC at the university.
Fun Fact: Rukmini loves hiking, live music, and exploring the restaurant scene in and around Ann Arbor.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Chair’s Responsibilities:
Creates a diverse & inclusive community with BAR through events and internal workshops
Acts as main liaison between executive board and diversity-related contacts
Works with other chairs to incorporate diversity in their roles
